The artist is known to us only as Haverty. We know he is Irish but no more. Do you know anything about this artist? We, my family and I, would love to know more.
The two faces are from a painting we called ‘The Blind Piper” but is officially “The Piper of Limmerick”. The full painting is “The Wedding”. It is one of two we have on the sacraments. The other is “the Baptism”.

This is scary for everyone. It means that 2 men, who happen to have conservative leanings, will be able to indoctrinate recipients of their ideologies. As the article says, these men may support Republican ideas but their interests are purely their own.

When republican leaders and media say “Americans” they are substituting that for republicans.
Since republicans followers generally only use conservative resources, they are alway readings “Americans [don't] want…” They read the word the way it was meant. They think the source is saying Americans so they restate what their source says, “Americans want/don’t want…”. So now it really sounds official, this is what Americans want/don’t want.
Problem: It isn’t what “Americans” want. It is what republicans want.
Don’t believe me? A man was recently caught on tape stumbling because he said “repubs” and then tried to “correct” himself by changing the word to “Americans”.
Please, my republican friends, remember I too am an “American”. So when you read “Americans” read “republicans”.
It is my America, too.

Sometimes I think conservative thinkers, i.e. the right, get confused by two of the definitions of “right”. It seems that they presume that saying they are the right (of center) means they are right (correct).
On the other hand, it is said of left-handed people that: since the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, left-handed people are the only ones in their right minds.”
So I suggest that right of center folks blame the left of center ones for thinking they are left-handed, that is, the only ones in their right minds.
I think there is much more proof of the left’s point of view than the right’s.

This reminds me of the time I heard a BP executive whine because they had a hard year in 2010 with the oil spill disaster that was the worst to ever occur.
